चक्रधरपुर झारखंड, भारत के राज्य में पश्चिमी सिंहभूम जिले में नगर पालिका के साथ एक शहर है। यह जमशेदपुर से 62 किलोमीटर पश्चिम में, रांची से115 किलोमीटर दक्षिण में, राउरकेला से 101 किलोमीटर पूर्व और चाईबासा (जिला मुख्यालय) से 24 किलोमीटर उत्तर मे छोटा नागपुर के पठार पर स्थित है। शहर झारखंड और ओडिशा के खनिज समृद्ध क्षेत्रों, साथ ही क्षेत्र में सीमेंट, इस्पात और चूना पत्थर उद्योगों में सहयोग करता है। इस क्षेत्र में बोली जाने वाली प्रमुख भाषाओं बंगाली, उड़िया, गुजराती, हिन्दी, अंग्रेजी, संताली, कुरमाली, तेलुगु, उर्दू, पंजाबी, और जनजातीय भाषा हो हैं। शहर के प्रमुख निवासियों रेलवे कर्मचारी हैं। यह रेलवे प्रतिष्ठानों, मुख्य रूप से कर्मचारियों के क्वार्टर के साथ क्षेत्र का एक बड़ा हिस्सा है। यह परिधि में सुंदर और एकांत परिदृश्य है। भारतीय स्वतंत्रता परिप्रेक्ष्य में, चक्रधरपुर अपने असहयोग आंदोलन और खिलाफत के लिए गांधी जी का समर्थन राजा अर्जुन सिंह देव, जगबंधु पटनायक (जग्गू दीवान), पंडित गोपबंधु, पंडित गोदावरिश मिश्रा, रहीम बख्श और फ़कीर चंद जैसे स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों का जगह था. 1920 में यह ब्रिटिश राज के खिलाफ मौलाना मजहरुल हक द्वारा आंदोलन किया गया. माल भाड़ा क्षेत्र में भारी मुनाफा पैदा रेलवे डिवीजनों में से एक है। यह भी अपने रेलवे स्टेशन कोड के नाम पर रखा सी के पी के रूप में जाना जाता है। यह छोटानागपुर के आदिवासी क्षेत्र की एक बड़ी ऐतिहासिक रुप से दक्षिण पूर्व रेलवे जोन (भारत) में चक्रधरपुर रेलवे डिवीजन के डिवीजनल मुख्यालय है। चक्रधरपुर दो पड़ोसी राज्यों ओडिशा और पश्चिम बंगाल की सीमाओं के करीब है। यह नदियां, पहाड़ घाटियों, और वन भंडार जैसे प्राकृतिक संसाधनों के साथ समृद्ध है।
 

Jubilee Park
Jubilee Park encompasses a total area of 237.75 acres. The Moghul Garden of Jubilee Park has been modeled on the lines of the Brindavan Garden of Mysore which displays about thousand rare kinds of roses of different colors and sizes. The most attractive feature of Jubilee Park is the colorful fountains, which is situated at the middle of the Park. The other prominent tourist attractions within the Jubilee Park are Jayanti Sarovar, Foliage Park, Tata Steel Zoological Park and Smriti Udyan. The Upvan of Jubilee Park is an ideal picnic spot and is suitable to spend some time with family and friends.The Jubilee Park wears a decorative look on the birth anniversary of the founder of Jamshedpur, Shri Jamshedji Tata.The famous architects, Mr. B.S. Nirody and Mr. G. H. Krumbiegel, had designed the Jubilee Park of Jamshedpur.

Dimna Lake is an artificial lake in Jamshedpur, which is situated at around 13 km from the city. This lake lies at the foot hills of Dalma Mountain ranges. The Dimna Lake is important for the city, as it serves like a water reservoir for the steel plant and the main drinking water source. This lake is half an hour drive away from the main city and can be visited by a cab or a bus. It is located in the Mirzadih Panchayat of Patamda Block and was constructed by the Tata Steel. Tourists can visit this place in winters between November and February. There are boating and other water sports facilities provided including jet skiing and rowing in this lake.

Dalma Hills
Located at a height of 3000 feet above sea level, the exotic ranges of Dalma Hills are at a short distance of just 13 km from the main city of Jamshedpur. The luxuriant dense forests, the swift flowing Subarnarekha River and the vast reserve of wildlife in the wildlife sanctuary represent the beautiful Dalma Hills. Other things to do in this zoo are to take a boat ride in the Jubilee Lake and walk along the Nature Trail.

Bhuvneswari Temple
Bhuvaneshwari Temple is popularly known as Telco Bhuvaneshwari Temple due to its location on Telco hill top. The temple name can be spilt into two, Bhuvanam meaning the universe and Easwari depicting the ruler. Thus, Goddess Bhuvaneshwari is called as the ruler of the universe. There is a famous Guruvayur Temple inside the Bhuvaneshwari Temple complex.

This Bhuvaneshwari Temple is situated on a mountain at about 500 ft. The location at the backdrop of a meandering river gives a panoramic view of the city including the TELCO factory. The officials of the temple have also launched a Vedic learning project which includes informal classes.

The Sri Sai Baba Temple, built on 0.75 acre at a cost of around Rs 3 crore, is meant for all devotees of Shirdi Sai Baba, the legendary saint held as the incarnation of Krishna by some and a pir by others.A multi-religion 13-member managing committee ' Shirdi Sai Baba has always attracted devotees of all affiliations ' is looking after the centre. On Friday, the 41-day purification rituals were still underway. Architecturally, the centre is soothing to the eyes. Designed by acclaimed New Delhi architect Chandrashekhar for free and built by Tarapore and Co for three years, it uses space and natural light effectively.The design of the main building has 60ft arches. The roof above Sai Baba's idol is of glass to let in sunlight. There is a meditating hub, lecture halls, administrative blocks, landscaped garden and parking area.

Rankini Mandir
The temple is located in the Kadma area. Rankini Mandir is an old Hindu temple in the dedicated to the Goddess Rankini. Though located amidst the busy Sakchi-Kadma road this temple is a sacred pilgrimage spot and one of the popular tourist destinations in the city.

Situated just outside the city, Gol Pahari is famous for the Pahari Mandir, where Pahari Maa is the reigning deity. The temple is built on a hill near the Tatanagar Railway Station. An annual festival is organised at the Railway Loco Colony to worship Pahari Maa.

Parsee Fire Temple
The Parsee Fire Temple in Jamshedpur was installed in the year 1960 and is situated at one corner of the Jubilee Park with lovely flowering bushes, creeps, rose and seasonal plants. It is here where the Parsees worship the holy fire.This Parsee temple was built on 3rd March, the birthday of Jamshedji Tata. The fire has an interesting history. It has been burning in the Cursetjee Manockjee Shroff Agairy of the khades Parsee in Bombay since 1790. The trustee of the agairy, who had fallen on lean days was finding it difficult to keep the holy fire burning and approached the Parsees of Jamshedpur to establish the Cursetjee Manockjee Shroff Agairy here. The offer was accepted and the setting up of the agiary fulfilled the long cherished dream of the Parsees of Jamshedpur to have their place of worship in the Steel city.
